Academic Faculty Positions
The North Shore-LIJ Health System includes three tertiary care teaching hospitals, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital and Staten Island University Hospital, as well as several affiliated community hospitals throughout the New York metropolitan region. The Emergency Medicine Service is seeking board prepared/certified, residency trained Emergency Physicians to augment its staff. We have two ACGME-accredited residency programs in Emergency Medicine and are seeking faculty with an interest in academic and scholarly activity. A wide range of clinical, teaching, research and administrative opportunities are available. The ongoing development of our affiliated Emergency Departments has created opportunities for joint positions among institutions.
We have particular interest in academic faculty with Emergency Medicine Board Certification and/or additional fellowship training in Critical Care, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, International Emergency Medicine, Informatics, Sports Medicine, Ultrasound, Toxicology and Clinical Research.
